CO₂ fleet threshold values, regulations on batteries and waste batteries, circular economy and sustainability as well as digitalisation and cyber security: the automotive industry in Baden-Württemberg is decisively influenced by the regulations drawn up in the European Union. This is precisely where a central support task of the state agency e-mobil BW comes in. The aim is to increase the international visibility of Baden-Württemberg's automotive sector and to support the initiation of cooperation with European partners. To this end, e-mobil BW organises delegation trips for companies, universities and research institutions, initiates international cooperation projects and participates in trade fairs and cooperation exchanges in Germany and abroad.

- Economic Summit BW & EU on 4 and 5 December 2024: Economic policy issues in the state are to be dovetailed with those of the EU. Politicians and business representatives will be able to present their combined positions and the EU will be able to report on its activities and strategies. This year, the summit organised by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism will focus not only on European SME policy and geopolitical tensions, but also on the automotive industry. Franz Loogen, Managing Director of the state agency e-mobil BW, will take part in a panel on the new course for the automotive industry in Brussels.
- 4 motors for Europe on 5 December 2024: Baden-Württemberg, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Catalonia and Lombardy are leading mobility locations in Europe. Together with the partner regions of Flanders and Wales, they meet regularly to drive forward the industrialisation of electric mobility and the implementation of future mobility solutions in Europe. E-mobil BW is chairing the Four Motors Working Group ‘Electric & Hydrogen Mobility’, which will meet in Brussels on December 5th. Within the working group, the member organisations will exchange information on current projects in the regions of the four motors and discuss new ways in which clusters and technology networks can support the transformation of the automotive industry.
- Hyvolution in Paris / France, 28. – 30. January 2025: As a conference and accompanying exhibition, Hyvolution Paris covers the entire value chain of the three most important target markets: Mobility, energy and industry. The Fuel Cell Cluster BW will visit Hyvolution and promote networking with French clusters and companies.
- Congresso Nacional Hydrógeno Verde in Huelva / Andalusia, Spain: Together with selected companies from the network, the Fuel Cell Cluster BW, which is coordinated by e-mobil BW, will have a joint stand at the 2nd National Congress for Green Hydrogen from 4 - 6 February 2025 in Huelva with the aim of further expanding initial contacts in the hydrogen industry in Spain and initiating joint projects.
- Battery Europe Show: 3. – 5. June 2025 at the Trade Fair in Stuttgart: Numerous partners from the Electromobility South-West and Fuel Cell BW clusters are represented as exhibitors at the Battery Europe Show in Stuttgart. In 2025, e-mobil BW will continue to offer guided tours for delegations from abroad in order to initiate and intensify contacts with companies and research institutions from Baden-Württemberg.
- Zulieferertag Automobilwirtschaft BW on 8. October 2025 in Esslingen: Delegations of international partners are also expected to attend the Supplier Day in Esslingen next year. The ‘poster exhibition’ format offers national and international participants the opportunity to make contacts and explore opportunities for cooperation in B2B discussions.
- VOLTAGE - the 1st EU-Project with participation of e-mobil BW GmbH picks up speed: VOLTAGE aims to promote the training and qualification of labour in the battery industry. The aim is to secure skilled labour for the industry's growing demand and help Europe achieve greater security of supply. Together with the Technische Akademie für berufliche Bildung Schwäbisch Gmünd e.V., e-mobil BW GmbH is the German partner of the project.
